Mika Hunter taught leadership & public speaking at a Military University (Air University) to thousands of military leaders. She worked on several teams to write leadership curriculum used in the United States and overseas. She created a program that improved instructor productivity; this program was benchmarked as the best across the Air Force. Later during her military service, she was selected as the only female leader to evaluate a leadership course that helped select tactical specialties across all branches of the United States Military (Seals Teams, Green Berets, Combat Controllers, etc) get promoted to higher levels of leadership. She was selected as an instructor to introduce the John Maxwell Leadership program to the Military in 2005. She has academic and practical leadership experience across organizations in the United States and around the world: Mexico, Honduras, Mali, Spain, Korea, Japan, Okinawa, Philippines, Italy, Mali, Cuba, and Slovenia.
Mika Hunter has been seen on the TODAY show as well as TODAY.com. She has also been viewed various times on the Air Force network for her contributions to the development of leadership programs and curriculum for leaders across the military.
Mika has been published in Forbes for popular projects like Why Passion Beats Technique In Public Speaking, and A Female Introvert can make a great Leader: Strategies for Overcoming Leadership Dilemmas & more than a dozen other Forbes work, 2 published works (1 Magazine Cover) for Womelle Magazine, featured for leading educational programs in SB magazine, and her work was also highlighted in numerous military media.
